About the Role
Trellion is building the next generation of hiring intelligence. Our systems analyze resumes, jobs, interviews, and human signals using advanced AI. This role exists to make powerful technology feel simple, human, and trustworthy.
You will be a Product Designer owning the user experience across Trellion’s core platform, shaping how recruiters, candidates, and operators interact with AI-driven systems. This is a hands-on design role with real ownership.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end UX for AI-powered hiring workflows
- Design live interview experiences and real-time feedback surfaces
- Create candidate and recruiter dashboards
- Ensure trust, transparency, and explainability in AI outputs
- Build and maintain design systems, component libraries, and UI consistency
- Rapid prototyping and user testing
- Translate complex technical systems into clean product experiences
- Collaborate directly with founders, ML engineers, and backend teams
Requirements / What We Care About

Design Stack / Skills
- Comfortable with Figma or equivalent design tools
- UX research and usability testing
- Design systems and scalable UI patterns
- Mobile-first and responsive product design
- Collaboration with engineers in agile environments
- Translating product requirements into real interfaces
Nice to have:
- Experience designing dashboards or data-heavy products
- Prior work in HR tech, AI products, or B2B SaaS
- Light motion design or interaction design experience
Compensation & Benefits
- $100,000–$140,000 CAD base salary
- Equity participation
- Hybrid work in Montreal
- Direct influence over a core AI product
